The pulses make a wholesome base to many dishes, both winter and summer, and contain minerals and vitamins we all benefit from. They are grown by smallholders on plots in the well irrigated foothills of the Gredos mountains.

Brindisa beans

For almost two decades our dried beans and pulses from Gredos have had a long and successful history in Brindisa's portfolio. For many customers they underpin different styles of dishes from winter warmer one pot casseroles to colourful summer salads. We now present these same legumes in a Brindisa box with the aim of bringing more people in touch with these health giving foods. Our original bean connoisseur of El Barco de Ávila, Julián Sánchez García, still selects the beans for us with the same precision as always.

Prepared beans

These deliciously creamy beans are great for preparing a quick and nutritious meal. Their quality is largely a result of the area in which they are cultivated, with plentiful water and the high mineral content of the soil in this part of Navarra, along the banks of the River Ebro.
